Art Talk – 戶外寫生與室內創作

9月18日，我在土瓜灣的藝術空間NuDD跟大家分享我的十年水彩經驗，以戶外寫生與室內創作為題。謝謝參與的每一位朋友，熟悉的陌生的面孔，我們都有著對繪畫藝術的共同熱情！還有幫我籌辦並提供場地的Nudd HK，製造如此溫馨的氣氛，燈光，咖啡和鮮花，讓我們有這麼一段難忘的時光！

On Sept 18, I shared my 10-year journey with watercolors at NuDD art space in To Kwa Wan, diving into both plein air and studio painting. A huge thank you to everyone who came out—whether you were a familiar face or a new friend, it was amazing sharing our passion for art together! Big thanks to Nudd HK for hosting and setting up such a cozy vibe with great lighting. Truly an unforgettable time!

My Works at The Centurion Lounge (HKIA)

I’m honored to share that a series of my watercolor paintings themed around Hong Kong has been acquired by American Express. These pieces are now on display at The Centurion Lounge in Hong Kong International Airport.

我的一批以香港為主題的作品獲美國運通收藏，在香港國際機場的American Express The Centurion Lounge貴賓廳展示，這裡分享這個好消息。

Spring Rain

Someone collected this piece. It means so much to me, an affirmation that my expression of emptiness, of voids, of vastness, can be understood enough to be possessed.

今年賣出了好些畫，部分是因為畫冊的推出，收藏家順藤摸瓜，包括一些比較舊的作品。而畫冊封面之作，這張幾近70%都是空白的畫找到了它的主人，特別讓我感動！畫家當然希望能賣掉作品，繼續生活，但那種有人讀懂你的語言的感覺最棒！

Painting steps – Tai O, fishing village

I never get tired of painting Tai O. Share the painting steps of this Tai O work. Watercolor on Baohong (China) cold press paper.
大澳總是我筆下的題材，今天來分享這張水彩的作畫步驟。

1. 先以鉛筆打稿，同時以較深色的鉛筆標記暗部位置。
2. 開始鋪色，同時定義整體的明暗空間。
3. 加強棚屋之間的明暗反差，締造光感。
4. 繼續描繪細節，繼而完成下方藍色小船。
5. 最後強化某些色彩，增加整體色彩動態。

Splash 26: The Best of Watercolor

My work “Limelight” included in Splash 26: The Best of Watercolor, special issue of Artist Magazine in July 2025.

收藏這張畫的朋友希望在生活中找到藝術之光，當我貼出這作品的時候，一位畫友跟我分享他跟太太在這破洞底下拍的婚紗照，果欄承載的就是生活，香港故事。當我走過這小空間，讓我印象深刻的就是這一室是光的感覺，我緊貼著這感覺，完成這張作品。目前刊登於Splash 26: The Best of Watercolor, special issue by Artist Magazine.

Art Talk – 畫面的簡化與構成

感謝5月17日參與這個講座的過百位朋友，聽我講畫面的設計。表面像是一個繪畫技術講座，但因為眾多水彩愛好者的參與，大家的互動，讓此次講座有一種水彩聚會的愉快感覺！希望不久的將來能有更多的機會與大家分享，交流。
